LOVE.
It’s what it all comes back to. Nearly every piece that I create is somehow based on love and is either completed with a heart, or has a hidden heart painted into it — sometimes visible, sometimes not. Each piece only feels complete when my love becomes a part of it that way.
I strive to capture light, love, joy and peace in my art; however, as life unfolds with its ups & downs, it’s inevitable that I’ll be stirred to create darker pieces — leaving my grief on the canvas, releasing the sadness from my soul.
It’s my intention to share the wide range and depth of my emotions –whether raw or lighthearted — on canvas or tile art pieces; and it is my hope that you will examine each piece, each swirl, each stroke, each scrape and be moved, be touched, and be inspired.
My art longs to be a part of a family who loves wholly and unconditionally, no matter the family size. Some of my pieces serve to educate and inform. They'd fit perfectly in a setting that offers the opportunity to discuss and explore curiosity, sexuality, gender, love, heartache, relationships, self-love, acceptance, respect, spirituality and more!
