Voting Has Begun!

I don't see why not - especially if it attracts more eyeballs.

It did get me to click on over. But when I saw 1,091 images I shied away because I can't take the time to browse through that many entries to cast votes. Sorry, but I'm working on expanding a couple of marketing websites today.

This is usually sent in a mass group FAA email - voting has begun or winners announced etc.

Yeah, I screwed up Bill. Allowed ten entries each.

This is a group that had been abandoned for over two years and I took it over. It only had 185 members left in it so I didn't think we would get that much response. I totally forgot that all contest show up on the main contest page.

I really have no idea what I am doing running a group. I just like the theme and wanted it to survive and was hoping to prop it up until a real group administrator showed up and bailed me out!

I don't want just group members voting...

I don't understand the theory of groups being an asset to expand the reach of the images and their members but then limiting questions or the promoting to only the group members. That does not make sense to me.

I'm with Bill on the subject of the amount of entries...

I burnt out long before I could give a good and fair vote.

10 entries per person just seems like way too many.

I also like the theme of the group. I like farming and ranching and travelling through the mid-west of our country. So - next time limit the number of entries to two (2) or, maybe even one (1).

I would like to build a group for ships, large ships - freighters, tankers, cruise liners and such. But I also realize I do not have the time to do it well.

I have suggest that FAA allow for more than one group administrator. Kind of like what Facebook does. You can have as many as the group owner wants, administrators and/or moderators that have less power.

That was the work load could be carried by two or more people.

I want to vote.
