About Shirley McMahon
FYI: Copyright information at bottom of biography. Shirley's work evolved from a rich background of realism in her drawing and large oils. Today she translates her love for textures, music, nature, light and colour through mixed media and rich, soft pastels in a form of abstract representation. This crossover from pictorial realism to what it is today happened while visiting Nez Perce country in northern USA, in the late 80s. She brought home with her a spiritual connection to her art which changed her life in every aspect and set her on a journey which she continues today.
