Looks fantastic hung on my blue accent wall, and is much admired by my friends. I wish the size I purchased was still available because one of my friends really wants to purchase this picture with the same cooper frame choice.

About JC Findley
A little about me: I was raised a military brat and lived all around the US growing up. I went to Auburn University then joined the Air Force upon graduation. In the Air Force I flew B-1B bombers, T-37 and T-38 trainers, KC-135s and taught counter terrorism CQC defensive tactics for aircrews. I retired from the Air National Guard after 21 years of service. I was also an airline pilot for Midwest Airlines where I flew DC-9s, MD-80s and Boing 717s. All of Midwest's flight-crews were outsourced in 2008 and now I make my living selling art and various other jobs in the Dallas Fort Worth area. A little about art: Like many photographers I received my first camera as a gift at some ridiculously young age. Like many I am passionate...

This wall has a very special meaning for me.My best friend/Neighbor name is on this wall.Algernon P. Thomas and I were supposed to meet up over in Viet Nam,but he was killed a week before that happened. He was going to be my BEST MAN when we returned from Nam.He and 30 other brave GI's were killed over by the Cambodian border when they were attacked at Dawn by a large Viet Cong Battalion.RIP my friend, and alway's know you and the others on this wall are NEVER forgotten.Vietnam----1966-1967.
JC Findley replied:

Welcome Home Brother...... I was in the "Nam" too '67-'68 and have friends who's names are here. It is had to get a good shot here with all the people, flowers etc.. all the time. You have captured death's sacrifice and finality in a reflection. But for the "Grace of God" my name would be here too. Most people will never know what it's like to have to go to "War". Thank you, JC Findley and the men and women who's names are here for your service to your country!
JC Findley replied:

As a Vietnam Veteran I have been there several times, but it has always been crowded with people paying their respects. I liked seeing it that way, but was not able to capture it as beautifully as you have here. Excellent in Black & White and a moving tribute. Well done, JC !!
JC Findley replied:
Thanks Mel. There are a couple spots around DC that I often went to reflect on life in general and the Wall shown here and Arlington Cemetery are two that were always able to humble me and put any problems I might have into perspective. Here were men and women that had made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom and I know that we are able to live our lives as we do because of the names both here and across the river.
