This print is beautiful. It's a commonly depicted subject, but it is very special. The composition, tonal quality, and movement are exceptional and evocative. The piece is true to it's title... breathtaking!

I have wanted this for my pro life bulletin board at my Catholic Church and I wasn’t disappointed. It is beautiful and it has so much meaning put in a picture. A picture speaks better then words and this picture says it all. Thanks
Artist's Description
The Ash-Throated Flycatcher (Myiarchus cinerascens) is usually found in the western United States and in Mexico. Their usual habitat is in open arid areas. They are fairly small, measuring about 8.5 inches in length and weighing about 0.95 ounces. Of the five Myiarchus flycatcher species found in the United States, the Ash-Throated most resembles the slightly larger Great Crested Flycatcher. There have been rare sightings of the Ash-Throated Flycatcher in the Eastern United States and along the Gulf coast. The most recent sighting of this bird in Connecticut was reported by Tina Green and A.J. Hand on 11/17/2015, in Westport CT, and was the sixth state record. It stayed for many weeks, attracting dozens of birders from the Tristate area to view it and photograph it. It is speculated that this rare visitor, as well as several other rare bird species, underwent reverse migration from the Southwest to the Northeast associated with weather patterns.
