I purchased the shaggy angora goat on the wood mount for a gift for my neice. Loved how the wood grain comes through on the print. Excellent purchase! Would definitely purchase again.

This looks gorgeous printed on wood. It is now hanging on my therapy office wall and is perfect. The color is true to the photo. I love it.
Artist's Description
These lovely springtime relatives to poppies are some of the first wildflowers to appear. These pictures were taken from March 19 through April 14, 2012, in Green Lane, Pennsylvania, USA. They thrive at the edge of the hardwood forests. The flowers open during the day, close at night, and last for a short time.
The flower comes up alone with the leaf wrapped around the stem. As the flowers fade, the leaves open. If you pick a Bloodroot flower, you'll notice the sap stains the skin a yellow/orange. Some people can have a mild reaction to the sap but most folks won't.
The roots are poisonous and should not be eaten.

About Carol Senske
I always wanted to try photography, and my retirement offered an opportunity to do just that. The natural world is my first love. Here you will find pictures of things both large (landscapes, for instance) and small (macro) that catch my eye. I hope the images serve as a window into the natural world many of you don't have the chance to see. In a sense, I'm trying to create a guided nature trail, sharing what information I have about the subject. I'm always grateful for new and better information and welcome all input. Learning is food for the mind and soul. Nothing is ever harmed in the picture-taking process, but some things that wander into our home (like spiders) are carefully removed from the house after they serve as "models"....
