Description
Located on the western tip of Burrows Island, this lighthouse is two miles south of the ferry terminal near Anacortes, Washington. Vessels heading from Bellingham Bay south through the Rosario Strait to the Strait of Juan de Fuca pass by Burrows Island. Strong eddies and rip tides make the waters unpredictable. The lighthouse warns mariners of the dangers of nearby Dennis Shoal and Lawson Reef.
This lighthouse lies at Latitude: 48.47797 and Longitude: -122.71353.
