Looks fantastic hung on my blue accent wall, and is much admired by my friends. I wish the size I purchased was still available because one of my friends really wants to purchase this picture with the same cooper frame choice.

About Tom Mayer II Monkey Crisis On Mars
Graphic designer and illustrator from San Diego, California, USA. Addicted to ink, paint and markers but loving the comfort a modern computer to edit and enhance my work. I studied graphic design and illustration in Europe which brought me to work in advertisement and recently back to illustration. I'm influenced by American comics as well as the clean line drawing style of European graphic artists like Hergé, 'Turk' Liégeois, Roger Leloup and of course Jean-Claude Mézières' work. Thanks for the fav and sorry I got it wrong. I'm rather new to FAA (or Pixels.com). I just had some really interesting conversations about using cultural references and elements in design. So I'm really trying to get it right, or in doubt to stay away from it. Hope your grandson likes my art. I draw cars with kids all the time. Also thank you for the detailed explanation. Greetings from San Diego, Tom

Oh no Tom!! I am glad to come back to your site! 'F' simply means: I am placing your digital art in my Favorites!!! I did not have the F/L, meaning: Favorite/Like, because I simply do not agree with the title. Don't be sad Tom; I will never give you an 'F' (as in Failure). My grandson loves cars; I can wait to share your site with him! I can tell you something that I know about 'Voodoo'. Voodoo is not my religion, but I intensively read about it. Voodoo is a religion that the African slaves came with in the Caribbeans. The same God that the Catholics pray to is the same God that the Voodoo practitioners pray to. The devil does not exits in the African religions. Whenever harm is the ultimate aim directed toward someone, it is not Voodoo, it is 'black magic'. Selling your soul to the devil, evil curses, are part of black magic, part of witchcraft. Voodoo is a musical religion, a dance religion. The prescription of Voodoo is more for protection. The word 'Voodoo' used in "popular culture and tourist attraction", is called 'Vodum' in the Fon language. Fon language is one of the indigenous languages spoken in Benin, West Africa. In the Fon language, Vodum means GOD.

Teach me please! From what I understand todays the term 'Voodoo' refers to the phenomenon in popular culture and the tourist attractions (like tiki culture) and not to the religion. F makes me sad.

'Black Magic' it is!!! F
