The beach towel is really just for laying on inasmuch as it is too big and heavy to put around your body, which is just fine. The artwork in it is beautiful. I can't wait to use it.

Wow - I didn't realise it was going to be that big! It's a gift for a young member of the family - I think he'll be thrilled as he's a tractor fanatic at 6 years old. A practical gift too. The towel has a smoother upper side so it'll be more comfortable to sit on at the beach. It seems to have a thick absorbent power so no usual skinny beach towel.

Looked at from a certain angle, this Aladdin Squash could be an Alien spacecraft. You never know what you are going to get from a packet of Aladdin Squash seeds :) I had a lot of fun with all of the rich oranges and greens.

I have drawn and painted all my life, but for many years, my "day job" was as a special education/science teacher of high school age students. Now I paint full time, primarily in watermedia. My favorite medium is transparent watercolor. I love the way the paper glows through layers of paint, and the way the paint has a mind of its own. Only with watercolor can you not assume that the paint will be obedient and stay where and as you put it.
