From our extensive collection of Antique Maps, Prints and Photos of Guam and Micronesia; from the Folio Collection of prints from the Frycinet voyage by Arago. This archival reproduction of the original 1819 print in our collection. Beautiful hand-colored rendering of the original hand-colored print showing a young woman of Guam in Umatic going to church wearing a rosary, scapula flowing behind. This print is from the collection of drawings of Jacques Arago, the artist aboard the Freycinet voyage. Plate 65 in the folio collection. (NOTE: Since this is high resolution reproduction of the original antique print from 1819, there are some small natural areas of coloration in the print, which are typical of a 200 year old print. )
