This print is beautiful. It's a commonly depicted subject, but it is very special. The composition, tonal quality, and movement are exceptional and evocative. The piece is true to it's title... breathtaking!

I have wanted this for my pro life bulletin board at my Catholic Church and I wasn’t disappointed. It is beautiful and it has so much meaning put in a picture. A picture speaks better then words and this picture says it all. Thanks
Artist's Description
People always ask me how do you come up with the artwork you do. Well sometimes it as simple as a brick. Being an artist you spot thing a lot fast in every day like. Most people would jest pass this wall by not even seeing any thing but brick wall. I can't help but see thing. The more I look the more I see. To show you what I can see, I'll start with what you can see. Walking you would jest pass it by. But in this photo it is easy for ever one to see the little bear with his lighter colored face and little bit sad eyes. Setting with one paw up and one foot forward. But do you see him leaning against the two elephants. The elephants are trying not to be pushed off the brick. The mountain goat looking off the cliff. One sad horse stuck in his stall, and another house runs free. The lion in wait. The man holding out a banana for a little monkey. The horned creature picking up a pebble. Sleepy person yawning. A person looking back run down hill. A superhero flying in. Gorge Washington. Nee...

It is related that one of the exercises that da Vinci imposed upon his pupils in the studio was to have them look around the studio walls and draw the images that they could detect within the stains. This work of yours reminds me of that. Wonderful observation.
Denise Beverly
Glad to know I am not the only one who sees images and faces in places! I really like this one.
Ken Day replied:
Thank you Denise. I'm glad also. Art is everywhere if we keep and open mine.

Thank you all so very much for your comments. To me I find staring at a wall not boring thing to do or an act of being bored. A great many of my cartoons were inspired in such a way.
Ron Anthony
great work, love how you pull images out of places that others walk by everday day

Ken this is really cool, it reminds me to take my time and "smell the roses", Thanks - Kim
