Virgil Carter, BWS, PWS, PWCS, TWS, is a watercolor painter, teacher, demonstrator, workshop leader, author and Internet commentator. He paints primarily in watercolor, both en plein aire and from his studio in Boerne, TX. Primarily a representational painter, Virgil paints a variety of subjects, but enjoys most painting landscapes and town/urban subjects. He is concerned with telling stories in paint which share a personal idea, emotion or feeling about each subject. Color and light figure strongly in all of his work.
