Last Christmas we stayed with friends in Colorado and each morning, as is my habit, I went out early with my dog to explore. I take my camera on these outings because you just never know what you'll discover in the early morning light. This little creek was just a short walk from the house. I stood on a small bridge to make this picture. I've been looking at it for a year wondering what to do with it. The other night, I felt inspired and remembered the poem by Goethe.
