"Vaugines Steps No. 2" is an original watercolor, 15" X 22" on Kilimanjaro 300-pound cold press paper using American Journey and Davinci paints. The painting is an exploration of the wonderful small town of Vaugines in the southern region of Provence, which has a wonderful Roman history. It is a place for walking, exploring and witnessing history!
Virgil Carter, BWS, PWS, PWCS, TWS, is a watercolor painter, teacher, demonstrator, workshop leader, author and Internet commentator. He paints primarily in watercolor, both en plein aire and from his studio in Boerne, TX.
